A single attempt at the PTE exam takes 3 hours approximately. The test material comprises three portions, namely Speaking & Writing, Reading, and Listening. The PTE Academic certificate loses its validation two years after the announcement of results. A student wishing to prove their eligibility after that will have to take the exam again.
